   Grace is an amazing server. Grace brings a lovely energy and top notch attentiveness. We had a lovely time, per usual.

   We dined during happy hour to try a variety of different dishes. For any fellow pescatarians out there, the tuna (cold tapa) and shrimp (hot tapa) were not to miss. We also had the spicy pickled veggies, the yucca fries, and the Brussels sprouts (without the chorizo) - all were delicious. My favorite signature cocktail that I tried was the pisco sour. We didn’t have room for dessert but would happily dine here again!

   Was super excited about our dinner as it was very hard to get a reservation. Sadly, our experience was disappointing, I’m going to pin it on the fact that it was a very busy evening considering it was over the holidays. We have only seen our waitress few times, asked for a set of utensils as the one given was dirty, also for new plates and she has never came back with neither. She was totally checked out when asked for recommendations therefore we were not impressed with the food we have ordered. On another hand, ambiance is great and we will give Besame another shot at some other time and will update this review accordingly.

   Sat for a while before server came to table. Our food came before our drinks. Messed up our entree order and took 40 minutes to fix it. Dessert order was wrong. Overall really disappointing.

   Everything we ordered was excellent. We go out to dinner often and commented that this was probably the best dining we’ve had in quite some time. The chicken thigh main was surprisingly the star of the show. The octopus was excellent, and the short rib was perfect. Of course the churro was done well and the Cuban bread, my god!

   The restaurant is pretty, but their service and timing of drinks and food delivery was horrible. We ordered standard bar drinks, an appetizer, and meals for three people. After ordering, we sat there for a while and suddenly one of the meals came, still no drinks and no appetizers. Then about 20 minutes later, the other two meals came. About 5 minutes after that, the bar drinks came. Then about 5 minutes after that, the appetizer came that we barely ate since it was now served after our meal. The waitress didn’t even acknowledge this other than to say she was sorry about the bar service. A simple comp of our drinks or appetizers probably could have made us feel better, but they never addressed it and we didn’t want to be jerks, so we just paid and left. I had reservations to come back in February but cancelled them since Besame doesn’t have their timing and service down.

   Everything we ordered was wonderful! The Thai curry was amazing, the confit chicken delicious, and the tacos were great! We also enjoyed a crispy potato appetizer and Cuban bread. Highly recommend this cozy, beautiful, wonderful place!

    We visited Besame back before Covid, so we were due for another visit. At first, my husband and I were led to a table near the front windows, but we realized we would be too cold. The server worked quickly with his teammates and found us a cozy and warm table upstairs in the loft. We had the Bread & Spicy Tomato dipping sauce to start, along with a pitcher of Sangria. It was all delicious, but when they say “Spicy” they mean it! Our second course was the Mussels. PERFECT!! And the bread was great for dipping in that sauce. Then came the Chicken Curry. Also good, but I’m afraid our stomachs were full. We had such a fun night!
