   Food was great & good service. I highly recommend to start out with the Caesar salad & mussel & clams. The pizza is great, love the nduja although it’s different from the one they used to have. The cavatelli norcina & the branzino are also great. Wonderful dishes overall. The desserts are also really good!

   The food was incredible, especially their specialties like the bone marrow work gnochetti and the squid ink pasta. Service was kind & impeccable. Would return for a special date night!

   Always a favorite to come to Bestia, their food is stellar and they just do it right! Arriving right before restaurant opens is always a fave of mine, caught the tail end of their service staff pre shift and it totally warmed my heart. It really does make a difference when employees seem like they like where they work. I heard and felt energy, excitement and fun from each person I encountered.

   I'd been wanting to visit Bestia for ages, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype. Maybe I built it up too much in my head. My wife and I went for a date night, and when we arrived at the valet, there were about five attendants standing around, completely ignoring us until I spoke up. Once inside, we were seated quickly, but the table was disappointing--cramped and so close to the guy behind me that I kept bumping into him. The area was also chilly, and at one point, I caught the distinct smell of weed. The food was good, with the bone marrow being a standout, but overall, it felt overpriced. The pizza tasted burnt. Nothing truly wowed me. One thing I really dislike is when the check is dropped off without being requested--it just feels rushed and impersonal. For a place as renowned as Bestia, and considering what I spent, I expected much more.

   After so many years since our last visit, it was wonderful to find the food hasn't changed and is still fabulous! My teen son even asked for a salad dressing recipe! It is a busy and energetic restaurant and we will be back when next in LA.

   Server was incredibly hurried missed a drink order and a coffee order (ran off before the last person was able to order). Made it stressful for no reason.

   After hearing about Bestia for quite some time we decided to go for dinner celebrating our anniversary. As an obvious hotspot in the dtla arts district it was certainly very busy and very noisy - not a complaint at all; as we enjoy good ambiance. The food was good, but, not amazing and we had to wait over 45 minutes for our first appetizer and our entrees came soon after not allowing for a proper separation of courses. Also, we mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary without so much as a recognition of that…in any case, we see the appeal for some; but, our experience was less than expected.
