Bianca is a modern American restaurant and bar in Chestnut Hill that specializes in wood grilling, wood fire pizza, and a variety of dishes inspired by global flavors and cuisines. Bianca means a clean slate, a virtual white plate primed for delicious expression and ready to transport you to far off places. From classic dishes done with care to the truly unique, Bianca presents a luxe dining experience in a relaxed atmosphere that is as comfortable as our own homes. Owners Chef Tim Cushman and Restaurateur Nancy Cushman are the husband & wife team behind James Beard Award Winning o ya and Hojoko in Boston.
RESERVATION POLICY: If you need to cancel, notify 24 hours prior to your reservation to avoid a $15 per person cancellation fee. Children 12 & under must have an adult(18+) at the table.
A 20% gratuity will be added to all parties larger than 6.
Our patio is open seasonally. We do not take patio reservations, but will seat reservations at the next available patio table if requested.

    Service good but I would not come back here. The food was not good. The pasta was supposed to be homemade but the penne pasta tasted artificial which is the only way I can describe it. It was slippery if that makes any sense. Box pasta would have tasted better. The pizza was also not so great. It was so soggy that you had to eat with a fork and knife. Sorry I wanted to like it but just not worth it.

    This is a pretty restaurant with good service. I think the menu needs more variety. Suggest a build your own custom pizza option. Another chicken option. At these prices should be free bread for the table. I had steak -- the potato purée was skimpy. Could have used an included green vegetable.

    The food was exquisite. It was a bit loud and the lighting is a bit bright. Overall it was a great experience and the chocolate cake was incredible!

    Unfortunately the pizza oven was broken & we were looking forward to the breakfast brunch pizza. Then decided on eggs with the sour bread toast, & they were out of the sour dough bread. Our waitstaff was great though!!

    Overall the food was very disappointing. My dining companion was very interested in the "seared tuna steak" which tiurned out to be a tiny (maybe 3 oz) tuna patty, not a steak, overcooked. Vry disappointing. My cesar salad was just OK. overdressed. Too many croutons. The ice tea, of all things, was bitter, cloudy, and a very small glass. We will never come back. Too expensive for too little of poor quality. Also, sservice help was seldom to be found.

    pizza wasn’t available owing to kitchen issue. hummus (luckily we were able to get pita breads fresh out of oven) and truffle fries were the best

    So we met friends for a Christmas get together dinner. We were seated right away. The server was attentive and quick to take our drink order and bring it to us. Our appetizer and entrees were delicious - those who had the salmon said it was tender and not over cooked, my filet mignon was perfectly done, and the pasta dish my friend had was the envy of the table. So no complaints about the food or service. My issue is the ambience and decor. Unless you are seated in a booth, the chair seating is uncomfortable. And while all the "wood" in the decor is nice it doesn't do much to warm the cavernous feel of the place. It is like sitting in a fancy cafeteria. I think Bianca is a great place for lunch or an impromptu dinner after a day of shopping. But for a lovely dinner out with friends I do not think it is the place to go.
