The Bibendum Oyster Bar - a local stalwart - is steered masterfully under the direction of Lyon born 2 Michelin-starred chef Claude Bosi. The large tiled foyer of the great Michelin building remains, and it’s great for a glass of fizz and a few oysters (there are always many varieties to choose from), and also perfect to stay a bit longer for a more leisurely lunch or dinner.
Expect plenty of fresh seafood; oysters, langoustine and the signature seafood platters - alongside a comprehensive yet affordable wine list.

As well as dining inside the main "house", there are seats outside in the semi-open courtyard, and also in the prime spot of streetside on Fulham Road. If it does turn a little chilly, there are also some luxury blankets…

                                                                                                    My friend and I dined here on New Years Eve and were very excited as we had heard great things. I have quite a few food allergies and they were able to accommodate them which was very exciting. However, our server was very awkward and hard to understand which made our dinner and the whole vibe very awkward. I grew up in the restaurant industry and have worked in restaurants my whole life. I've seen (and been) the awkward server - this was just weird. Finally - be wary of the oysters. I got the seafood platter and my friend had my oysters and was violently ill within 2 hours.

                                                                                                    Service fantastic. Starters - Steak Tartare ok, needed an egg yolk. Fish soup very good. Mains - vongole, clams throughout chewy which was unpleasant, they took this off the bill. Mussels, flavourless. Ambience was nice but overall not a great experience, would not return.

The prices were far too high for the quality of the food. Everything we tried was underwhelming—the lobster roll, the oysters, the octopus. Overall, not worth the cost.

                                                                                                    I didn’t feel like the oysters were great, and the lobster wasn’t either. Absolutely lovely place, and staff were nice / responsive. Just didn’t think the food was quite up to scratch, especially given the price.

                                                                                                    A wonderful dinner for our honeymoon / first wedding anniversary. We’ve always wanted to come to Bibendum and we were so pleased that it was as lovely as we had hoped. We had the Bibendum burger which was delicious. Great service and a lovely little treat for our anniversary. Thanks!
