   An average dining experience attached to Peppers Hotel, Acton. We travelled to stay at Peppers for the weekend. We arrived later than expected, so I advised in-person at check-in that we'd be 15 mins late for our 7:30pm booking. When we arrived at 7:45pm they said they'd given our table away (why?), but offered us a table closest to the entrance. This was not suitable due to the icy breeze from the adjacent corridor. I asked if we could sit at one of the other 10 tables that were empty. Another table was found. When we were seated, we were promptly offered water. When the water arrived we were asked if we were ready to order. We replied no, we needed another minute to decide, but we'd like to order a drink. Being an Accor member, I asked which drinks we could get using my vouchers. The answer was none. Voucher drinks can only be collected from the bar 15m away and not consumed in the restaurant (I've never experienced this at any Accor hotel...). Okay, so we ordered drinks, which arrived promptly. Twenty minutes later, after wait staff had cleared nearby tables, adjusted chairs, and checked their phones, I walked to the bar and requested someone take our order. Order promptly taken. Entree charcuterie board arrived promptly and was delicious. Asked 'head?' waiter if it was okay to go to bar to collect drinks using Accor vouchers and bring drinks back into restaurant. He said he'd "allow it" this time (?). Mains arrived in good time. The duck ravioli was tasty but the slow-cooked beef cheek was over-seasoned and dry. Plates were cleared as I finished my last mouthful and dessert promptly offered. We were offered dessert and these came very quickly, including candle and complimentary dessert for birthday boy. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience, and not the usual Accor experience. This was due to the service, which was haphazard, having four different people serve us. Next time we'll walk to one of the excellent restaurants nearby.

   Have eaten here quite a few times over the years when staying at Peppers Gallery Hotel. Food and everything were ok without being amazing. Wasn’t too pricy so all up ok.

   Overall experience was great, we had a table for 2 and the service was really good. The meals were tasty, a generous size and good value for money. It took a little longer to be seated, but it looked busy. All the staff were fantastic.

   Basic presentation with lack of flair. Meal was delicious. Description was Cheeks but there was 1 and the mash potato was a little too puréed with a single stick of Broccolini.

   We had a great time! We were a large group of two families and were seated in the Ngunnawal room. We enjoyed the space and the attention from the staff. We had an excellent evening. The food was affordable and the food was enjoyable.

   Despite booking at table for 7, still had to wait till 7.10 to be seated, while staring at empty tables. The penne carbonara (basically) I ordered was watery and largely tasteless, except for a peppery taste. It reminded me of a frozen pasta from Coles. My fiancée’s pasta was nicer, she said, but not worth $30. Garlic/herb focaccia was quite nice, but not generous or special. Chose it for its proximity to the cinema, will not go back.

   The main dishes were very well presented and delicious. The desert was good. Where the experience was let down was the restaurant. It was a Sunday, and the menu was limited but plentiful for our needs. Only a small part of the restaurant was open, which was pretty much full. This felt like an old run-down pub and very incongruous to the atmosphere depicted in the advertising material. It was almost like they were doing us a favour by coming in on a day off. The service was polite, BUT please don't clear my plate away while my partner is still eating. I don't care how busy you think you are (male waiter).

    We have been to this restaurant at least three times but this was by far the worst experience to date. The service was poor, we had to wait over an hour for mains and nearly missed our show. Will not be dinning here again.
