Big City Tavern is a busy, vibrant restaurant reminiscent of the great urban taverns of Chicago, New York and Boston. A stylish, classic American restaurant, Big City offers a varied menu featuring dry aged steaks, burgers, fresh seafood, salads and fresh house-made pasta of the day. Some of the more popular dishes are the Pan Roasted Salmon with Tomato and the House-Made Charcuterie. The desserts are all enticing, all house made and all delicious.     Menus handed by hostess were covered with food grease. The waiter tried his best but service was slow and inconsistent. Appetizers were greasy. Blackened mahi sandwich was bland. Men’s restroom was absolutely disgusting. I’ve been in the restaurant in the past and the food was usually good and the service fairly decent. This latest visit was just the worst.

    We had Sean and he was so attentive! He was the best server! He made our dining experience wonderful! The hamburger was cooked perfectly!

    One dish (pasta special) was terrible. Burger was decent. Both overpriced even by Las Olas standards. Server was barely attentive and even when we mentioned the one entree was not good there was no attempt to make it right.

    Thin flat omelette soggy from lousy tomatoes. It was supposed to come with fruit, but it was a salad. Server brought me a side of fruit since I questioned menu deets. It had four pieces of fruit. Toast ice cold and no butter on it. Had to ask for it. Only thing good was the side of bacon. While I’ve loved the Louis Bossi experience in the past, I’m done going there.
