Its hard to find these days a old fashioned down to earth great food, affordable you dont go home hungry, homely atmosphere good service and that it's not all about the look of the place, look no further going to big johns Sans Souci ticks all boxes, been going there for a long time but hadnt been for a while then went for my birthday had a wonderful night and the place has only gotten better.

The new owner is amazing and on the ball, great atmosphere staff are lovely and accommodating and the food is amazing full of flavour and generous serving.

Food was sensational as always but the wait staff were very slow and confused when taking our drink orders. One of the drinks never arrived we gave up asking after the third time. The wait staff didn't seem to have any product knowledge of the wine menu.The ordering of a simple glass of sparkling wine was like a Faulty Towers episode.
