   What an amazing experience in a lovely atmospheric place. We enjoyed Mother’s Day and we had a lovely time.

   Very friendly welcome once we got to the head of the queue to get in. Very friendly waiting staff who were very helpful. One of the meals was barely warm and when this was pointed out they replaced it and did not charge for it at all. The staff were working their socks off as so busy so I suspect the meals were waiting around a while in the kitchen before being brought out. I would recommend this restaurant as a standard sort of chain and would go again.

   Average food, and quite pricey for what it was. Service could have been much better too; certainly not worth the 12.5% gratuity that was automatically added to the bill.

   Great offer, 2 children eat free with 1 full paying adult. Service was great, busy bustling reataurant, enjoyable meal with nice food.

   We ate at Bills for a late birthday lunch after the cinema. Our table was near the back in a quieter part of the restaurant, which was very busy. We ordered a couple of starters to share - halloumi and roasted cauliflower, which were both very nice. The mains, less so. Three of us ordered the eggs benedict with chips to share. The eggs were perfectly poached but the rest of the meal was tepid at best, including the chips. One of our party had the gluten free option which was a piece of burnt toast instead of the muffin. We mentioned this to the server who brought another piece of toast eventually, when most of the food had been eaten. Nothing was mentioned regarding the birthday, despite alerting the restaurant to this in advance. Quite disappointing really, as the food is usually good.

   Making comments about how much one's eating is not a nice way to start with. The waiter literally just called me fat and jokingly made a comment about the calories I would consume with that dish, not that it is written on the Menu. Thank you for making me ashamed about my brunch choice. Also the other waitress overcharged me and didn't want to admit it or help when we kindly pointed out. Apologies but it was not a good experience.

   Ordered smashed avocado on sourdough with poached eggs and dude of sweet potato fries . Eggs perfectly runny , plentiful avacado . Amy our server returned without fuss the fries ( not quite cooked ) returning them quickly perfectly crisp and cooked . Partners chicken schwarmer lovely . His smoothie was delicious and he said best coffee he'd had in ages . Amy the server attentive but not hastley . Chelsea the manager seated us away from a few noisier patrons and was efficient and friendly in equal measure . Great anniversary brunch thank you .

   The atmosphere was good, service was ok, but the food was not good, several persons (including ourselves) weren't satisfied with it. In fact, it made us ill that night. I probably won't make another vist. Also paid a premium for very basic meal. Wouldn't recommend.
