   Dropped in with a friend for food and drink prior to a matinee show. The staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. The waiter showed us to a table and then moved us without us asking as we were in the middle and he moved us to the side, which was quieter. The food was fresh and hot and arrived quickly. Brilliant experience. Thank you

   Yummy pancakes but smaller than expected so had to order more - bottomless, service was slow: had to wait and attract waiters’ attention to order, re-order and check on progress of pancakes, was then bought another incorrect serving and finally had to ask 3 times for bill and gave up and paid at cashier as in a rush for theatre (had said this twice). Also they took my cutlery when they cleared my first plate and didn’t bring more so ended up eating my 2nd plate with my latte spoon.

   Nice place and decoration. Good atmosphere for a brunch. The quality of the food and the large choice are also a very good points. Very nice first experience for us! PS: don't forget to book in advance.

    I booked a last-minute table here on a rainy Friday night after 7:30pm, as it was a short walk from where I was staying near Seven Dials. Place was bustling with lots of happy chatter bouncing around the space, so as a solo diner, I was grateful for a corner, window-side table. Had the side-salad as a starter: lots of very fresh greens, including pea shoots, in a large, deep bowl. For my main course, the seafood 'pie' was a rich casserole of cod, salmon and shrimp in a rich, creamy sauce, under a layer of mashed potato -- bubbling hot on a cold wet night. Good filling food, reasonably enough priced for such a centrally located bistro in the thick of Covent Garden. Would probably go again, altho' hoping for an outdoor table on the patio so warm dry evening!
