   I think the variety and quantity of food has diminished. There used to be some interesting items on the menu, it's nothing special any more. We had fish pie which had a lot of sauce and potato but only two prawns and not a lot of fish. The duck curry had great flavours but the dish was padded out with sugar snap peas and squash. Again, the sum quantity of rice, curry and accompaniments was somewhat frugal.

   Booked an offer of bottomless pancakes for £5. Arrived, ordered, ate and the bill didn't reflect the offer. Was told the offer is only on certain times. No mention of it before. So fathomed why I could book the offer through the link I was emailed and it not be valid. Was told, that was that. Not a massive issue but one to put me off going back,

   The food was OK but not great ( we had the eggs Benedict and the poached eggs were perfect but the ham was crispy and hollondaise was watery. Nice restaurant decor abrupt serving staff

   The staff , meeting and greeting were very welcoming , our waitress Layla was excellent . Menu choice was great and food very delicious . Venue and ambiance fabulous .

   I really like visiting Reading and having a Bloody Mary to start. Be careful with the seasoning. I like the Big Brunch and my wife garden brunch. I find the staff are always up for a bit of banter. The restaurant was quiet to start with but really filled up as time went on. Very popular establishment. Well done to the staff in front and back of house.

   Our group included four adults and one toddler (who had beans on toast). We had streaky bacon pancakes to share and the pancakes were perfectly made. Then we ordered four mains (2x eggs royale with salmon, classic burger and a traditional breakfast). Overall the food was very good and we didn’t wait too long, however I can’t give 5 stars as eggs were not really poached but quite hard inside for anyone who ordered them (and it’s not the first time).

    Food was ok, service was average. The waitress we had (older one) didn’t seem very happy to be there which was off putting. Drinks were good. Overall a very mediocre experience and not one I’d be dying to go back to.
