    2nd time here. First time everything was spot on. This round the flavor profiles were not my cup of tea. I had the whitefish in a broth. The fish was delicious, but the broth was too citrusy. 2 of the 3 appetizers had interesting profiles but were also not the right balance for my perhaps unsophisticated tastes. The menu changes frequently, so I did not get the best week for my tastebuds.

    The best dining experience I have had in a long time. The service was exceptional and so was the food. From the moment we walked in, to the bar service and dining experience everything was perfection. I will be back over and over again. Well done!

    Dining at Birch was exemplary. We were greeted warmly, seated immediately, attentively served, food and drinks were delicious and ample. Service and food were top-notch.

    Got seated right away on a Wednesday, at the counter facing the open hearth. Wonderful food, had the smoked trout and jalapeno stuffed ravioli.

    This was our first visit. We were there on a Friday night for a 530 reservation. Parking is on street only and had to park 5 minutes walk away. The marinated Beet salad first bite was delicious. We were somewhat disappointed with the Fazzoletti as there was virtually no beef in the Ragu. Wood-Roasted Shrimp had not much creamy polenta and was over cooked in my opinion. The chimichurri rojo was very good. We enjoyed the Brick Chicken. The restaurant is open concept which offered a view of the kitchen (I like!) and was well lit. Would not consider the atmosphere for a romantic date. Food was freshly made and service was good. We will be back when we have more time (we were seeing a play at730) and try the tasting menu.
