The food was great. But perhaps because it was Monday, and busier than they expected, service was slow. The delicious salads came a little slowly, but not terribly. However, the mains and sides took at least 30 minutes after the salad plates were cleared, and probably 15 minutes after we were told they would be 5 more minutes. They sent a caviar nibble to the table because of the wait, and the steaks and sides were excellent. But an explanation of the delay a bit sooner would have been appreciated.

We had an excellent dinner, with attentive and kind service. The food was prepared perfectly. The only concern was that the entrée prices were a bit steep compared to our experience at other high end steak houses in the area. Street parking is limited, although there is a paid parking lot a couple blocks away.

The food is inedible at this restaurant - we ordered the Ribeye medium and it was so dry and tough, both me and my companion could not eat it. For a $70 steak, you'd hope the cook knows how to ensure a medium doneness steak without drying it out. The scallops were not cleaned correctly, as they still had the "side muscle/foot" attached which should be removed before cooking. The seafood tower was underwhelming - and the crudo tasted like the ocean. The crab cake looked and tasted like something you get from the frozen section at TJ's. We ate none of our entrees, and when the manager came by to ask if we wanted our meals to-go, we both said no - that's how bad the food was. After all that, the manager removed just one drink from our tab. Then, they called me two days later to say they never received payment on the $250 bill due to an issue with their card reader?! What a joke. We will never go back to this sorry excuse for a steakhouse.

Nice dinner with great service however our server was leaving this restaurant due to poor pay, sounds like they do tip share maybe. MEAL Rib eye w Foie Gras Snow: 👍 Prepared Med rare as requested, great flavor. Horseradish cream: 👎 Sauce for rib eye. Tasted like sour cream with minimal horseradish however server brought a side of straight horseradish when requested. Grilled little gem Caesar: 👍 Grilled Foie Gras toast: 👍 Excellent Foie Gras with minimal competing flavors. Nonna’s bread and oil: 👍 Great taste however bread presentation was odd - sliced sandwich style white bread. Oysters on the half: 👎👎 This dish was awful. They use Netards however the lemon cucumber shaved ice was very distracting and completely masks the flavor of the oyster. Will I return: Probably not, too many great restaurants in Portland however it’s worth an experience.

A fantastic dining experience. The food was delicious. We (4 of us)chose a variety of foods to share from the snacks: Nonna’s bread and olive oil, Dungeness crab cakes. Appetizers: little gem Caesar, lobster & prawn roll and gnocchi cacio e pepe, both of which were amazing!! We opted for the burger which was outstanding!! (They only make 10 per night. Topped off the evening with zabaglione and crème brûlée. We will definitely return.

Excellent, friendly service with helpful advice. Lobster-shrimp rolls were absolutely delicious. The duck breast was good, if just a bit chewy, and we really enjoyed our generously portioned side dishes: hasselback potatoes and asparagus. Cocktails were outstanding. We were surprised that it took so long between courses but we enjoyed Bistecca and will definitely return.

It was a very disappointing meal. We ordered the oysters, Baruta , crudo. After having the starters and being so disappoint in everything we decided to close out and walk to another restaurant for our main meal.
