   Our first experience at the Bistro Sam was 5 stars. We were a group of 6 people and we all enjoyed our meals. The service was amazing from the moment we sat down. We will definitely be back.

   Très charmant pour prendre l'apéro tout doucement dans une ambiance douce et conviviale. Le service est impeccable!! La vue sur le fleuve fait rêver!!! Nous avons vécu une merveilleuse rencontre entre soeurs!!!! Merci!!!

   Notez que pour moi 5* c'est très rare. Pour prix il faut s'y attendre. Repas excellent, service affable et courtois. Le mixologue très créatif et volontaire. Une bel expérience à renouveler pour des occasions marquée.

   Une bonne cuisine dans un décor assez spectaculaire (vue sur le fleuve). Le genre de lieu ou on retourne volontiers.

   I reserved with a mention that this was our 15th wedding anniversary. We were not expecting anything from it, and the waiter was amazing throughout the services. While eating our dessert the table next to us received a beautiful little cake with ‘happy wedding anniversary’ written in chocolate and waiter mention to them it’s a little gift on the house. Of course seeing that, my wife was a bit sad and I started to wonder if I had actually forgot to mention it. So I went to ask the reception to check in my reservation and I had mentioned it. I explained to her we were not expecting anything but to see the table next to us receive a little something made my wife a bit sad. She was very kind, fully understood the context of the situation and she went to inform our waiter. For some reason the waiter who had been amazing all night seemed to have taken offence and his attitude shifted 180 degrees. He brought a tiny of piece of cake and almost through it on the table with two forks. He barely spoke to us anymore until we left. At this point both me and wife felt terrible about the whole situation, like we were cheap for mentioning it. This was never about getting a free piece of cake, I mean the bill was over 300$, if I wanted more cake I would of simply ordered some. What could of been a magical evening, at a beautiful venue, ended with us leaving with our bad taste in our mouth regardless of how amazing the food was sadly.
