    A 24-hour advance booking is required. Tea service is offered Wednesday-Sunday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. If payment is not made by 11:00 am the reservation will be cancelled. Tea service is $70 per person (includes tax & gratuity) with a two-person minimum (odd number parties are accepted). Cancellations for refunds MUST be made before 11:00 AM the day of the reservation by calling (713) 904-3537. Mail, email, and text messages are not accepted for cancellation. A credit card processing fee of 8% will be assessed for the refund. Splitting of tea service is not available. Unfortunately, we do not offer Vegan, Dairy-Free, or Sugar-Free as a part of our tea service. Dietary constraints should be noted when the reservation is made.

                                            When we arrived at peak dinner hour (6:30) the dining are was nearly full and there were two goups (3 and 8) next to eachother and competing to talk above the other. The room is acoustically live and this was quite annoying. When the larger group left everything settled down to a very comfortable level. The food was excellent, especially the cassoulet special and the beef short rib! Service was good, especially the presentation of the cassoulet by chef Greg and his follow up visit with our table. Nice!

                                            Service was hurried. The waitress took one guest’s plate without asking if she could take it and the waitress put the dessert menus on the table before we finished our main course. Disappointing!

                                            Everything was excellent as usual. The room was a little noisy, but it's mostly a hard surface environment so that's not surprising. It certainly wouldn't stop me from coming back or from highly recommending Bistro Menil to my friends. And in fact I have done so on a number of occasions.

                                            Always a great meal and experience at Bistro Menil. We loved the food and my friend was surprised with a delicious sparkling dessert. Try the eggplant fries!

                                            This was our first visit to Bistro Menil, and it was a very pleasant one. The service is professional and unobtrusive. It's a really well lit and tranquil place, being set on the grounds of the Menil Collection. My only regret about the food is not being able to try everything! It all looked good, and everyone at the table was very satisfied with their meals.

                                            We are always treated so amazingly by all the staff and Chef Greg - with a quick note in my booking to ask if he might be serving lamb - there it was on the menu for us - with a stunning sauce. This restaurant always goes out of its way to make every dinner a special occasion - thank you Team Bistro Menil

                                            Loved the setting here. We had a corner table on the north side dining room and it was really peaceful even though there was a birthday dinner in the south dining room. Food was excellent and inventively paired with wine craft beer and appetizers. We had the shrimp and chorizo appetizer, scallop risotto and fried trout as a main course followed by the fudge brownie al a mode which was outstanding. Our server was Melaine who was very helpful and engaging and made a real effort to make our dinner memorable. I have never had a disappointing meal here, they are very consistent and do a great job!
