We had a very good experience at Black Dog Pub last evening for dinner. The food was very good. I had the cottage pie and my husband had the meat loaf. The wait staff was very welcoming, friendly and efficient. When we mentioned that it was our anniversary, we were treated to a dessert on the house, and it was delicious - the hot toffy cake. All in all, a lovely dinner with all the trimmings.

We love Black Dog! We have been here a couple times and it does not disappoint. We were looking for a place to hold our party of 7 for Thanksgiving and they were happy to host us. They had a special Thanksgiving menu and the prime rib was spectacular - it came with a showstopper yorkshire pudding on top. If this is any indication of their roast Sundays you are in for a treat. Service was fabulous. Happy to see this place now on OpenTable! Thanks!

The Black Dog Pub is a great place to gather with family which is what we were there for. The food was great and the service was also great. Have been here before and will come back.
