I had a wonderful dinner with my wife and children for my wife’s birthday. The food was excellent and staff were lovely and helpful with answering all the questions from my children. It’s a fancy place and I wasn’t sure if it would be kid friendly, but we were welcomed and looked after so beautifully by the staff which made us feel relaxed and happy. There is a children’s menu, portion size for some of these were small so best for the younger ones only. Meals were superb and pricing about what I would expect for 5 star dining. Drink prices were reasonable, around the same as you’d expect at any restaurant. They didn’t even charge us for the soft drinks. The decor and furniture was beautiful but comfortable. Open preparation kitchen was cool as you can see the chefs doing their thing. Fantastic location with lovely view of the river and Southbank, the wheel lit up and night was a neat sight. It was also fun to stroll around the Star and check out the Skydeck afterwards. An absolutely amazing night, would recommend for family special occasions or for anyone wanting to impress a special person!

All our food was delicious. The only disappointment was the eye fillet which came out a tad overcooked. For $85 it was disappointing. The service was excellent

We have been a loyal customer of Blackhide since they first open at Treasury Casino many years ago. Unfortunately our meal was such a disappointment we won’t be going back anytime soon.

Vicki at front of house and Sarah our waitress were amazing, we were seated inside and they looked after us exceptionally well. The food and wine were beautiful, we had the recommended meatballs with Oysters to start and then Steak for main and a beautiful Brokenwood wine with Salad and chips. My personal preference would have been for baked potato, but the fries were a very good substitute. I arrived early and had a whiskey sour at the bar while I waited. The service from the bar was also outstanding.
