   Great food, but needs better exhaust system. Remains very Smokey inside. Took a while to be greeted after seating. Waitress was nice and efficient.

   Terrible experience. My first time here was yesterday for my birthday, 12/31. I booked it for 7:45, got there at said time and didn’t actually a table until around 8:25-35. We then all ordered some drinks, waited for about 15 minutes for the waiter to come back to the table just to tell us that our drinks SHOULD be ready in about another 5 minutes. One of my friends mentioned that some drinks at the bar that were just sitting there looks like it might be ours and they actually were; shocker. So our drinks were kinda watered down because of how long they were just sitting around without no communication on the team’s end that they were ready. After that, we all ordered and were waiting for the absolute LONGEST. the worst part is my friend had ordered an appetizer and they never came out with it because ONCE AGAIN, they didn’t communicate that the food was in the back ready, so at that point, my friend didn’t even want it anymore and got it canceled. Then after that, it took until about 9:25 for our food to come out ( we ordered around 8:30 mind you and they close at 10) and come to find out, our food was sitting in the back AGAIN and all of our food was pretty cold; my fries were warm and burger looked like it was sitting for a while; the cheese was looking stiff and everything. Also, that SAME FRIEND was waiting for his main entree and they didn’t even make it yet and at that point, I was upset for my friend because he waited to eat all day just so he could eat here with my friends and I and he couldn’t do anything but just keep waiting. Another thing that irked me was when the check came out and the drinks that we all thought (including OUR WAITER) were $3.50 was only for a Sunday….so the real price was $12.00…big jump and I wouldn’t have even got that drink if I know that was the case and I feel that falls on the waiter as well for not confirming that before ordering it because we mentioned and asked if they were actually 3.50 and they said yes. Disappointing

   Our Server Tineecia was amazing and outstanding. Very attentive and made our experience great. Food was amazing as always. I gave 3 stars on ambiance because wasn’t overly impressed with the small back room we sat in. Reminds me of just a plain small overflow conference room. The main dining in Restaurant is very nice and ambiance much better and inviting and more open. Black Rock is one of my favorite places to dine.

   I’ve been fortunate enough to dine at countless restaurants all over the country, but tonight’s experience was by far the worst service I’ve ever encountered in my life. It was so bad, in fact, that it completely ruined my father-in-law’s birthday celebration, a day that should have been filled with joy and laughter, not frustration and disappointment. From the moment we walked in, things went south. We were greeted by an indifferent host who took forever to seat us, despite there being several empty tables. Once seated, we waited nearly 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged our presence, and when they finally did, it was with an attitude of complete indifference. The server barely made eye contact, and when they did speak, it felt like we were bothering them. Took 30 minutes total before drinks were on the table and we were putting in appetizers. What should have been a happy night ended in disappointment and frustration. Needless to say, we will never be returning. If I could give zero stars, I would. This experience was not just bad—it was truly the worst I’ve ever had, and it has left a lasting sour taste. Food was average. The experience of cooking on the rock was the best part. And it wasn’t even that great because the whole place smells like a grease fire. Lol I’m usually positive.. but I think bad experiences need to be noted also. Thanks!

   The whole “cook your own $40 steak on a VERY hot rock” thing was wild. We weren’t looking to do that, especially with the price of the steak. The food was good though, service was stretched thin but nice and helpful when possible. The pretzel fondue was delicious.

   Always a great meal here! Everything was delicious. We came from Georgia for the holidays and were so glad we were able to come back here .worth every penny

   My husband really enjoyed the steak medallions and the experience of cooking at the table was nice. I ordered the stir fry and it just didn’t taste fresh, and there was just too much sauce. I was also expecting bigger pieces of shrimp.

   Post- football game dining in Tampa. Smoky upon entering, naturally. Fairly casual atmosphere and service. Our waiter was very kind, seemed newer to the establishment. Food was tasty, cooking on the stone is a fun experience for the family. Quality was decent - not gourmet, but not TGI Fridays.
