Blind Bishop is a modern wine bar and restaurant nestled in the Bishop Arts District of Dallas. Our wine list is curated by Sommelier/Owner Dilek Caner, who is currently the only Master of Wine in Texas. For the last twenty years, Dilek has trained many sommeliers and wine directors in New York City and Dallas.

We are open from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm on Saturdays. During these hours, we offer a rotating selection of 16 by-the-glass options available in 1 oz, 3 oz, or 5 oz pours and serve a bar menu. We also offer a seasonal six-course dinner with optional wine pairings on Saturdays at 6:30 pm. Seating is limited, so these dinners are by reservation only.

Expect to have a great time tasting wine and food, having conversations with like-minded wine people, and to always learn something new about wine when you visit us.

This is one of the best restaurants in Dallas. The food and wine were exquisite and the service was the best I’ve ever received in a dining experience. Everyone we dealt with was gracious, knowledgeable, and unhurried. We were treated like friends in a plain-spoken, authentic way — not because someone was trying to earn a tip. it was like eating with your own family. I recommend them without reservation.

Eric, It was fantastic to have you and your group of friends at Blind Bishop. It is always the most fun for us when guests are really into food and wine and it was a pleasure talking to you all!

Food and wine was amazing! Server(s) were a bit overwhelmed, they could use a few more. I’m young and I thought music was too loud and speaker right above our head was playing rock and roll so loud we could barely hear each other. All the said, I’ll be back - just need a few improvements to make it perfect!

Thank you very much for visiting us and also for your review as it was beneficial to us! We did hire more staff as we were already planning to do. We also checked the level of music at each table and found that especially on two tables, it gets quite loud while the rest of the room is even too quiet. We are looking into having our speakers re-adjusted. Hope you'll visit us again soon.

Wine tasting excellent as was the food. Owner was spread a little thin among the guest. Need another server with adequate knowledge of the food and wine to assist.

I wish we had gone to Blind Bishop sooner. We couldn't decide what we wanted, so we opted for the prix fixe dinner and wine pairings. The food and wine were great and worthy of a repeat visit by themselves, but the service and attention were so much better than anything we've come to expect in Dallas. The wine pairings aren't set in advance but are selected after considering your personal palate, preferences, and/or mood. It made the dinner feel special. Will definitely be back soon.
