   Horrendous service experience. Waited 40 minutes for our table (with a reservation!) and another 45 minutes for our food. Only saving grace was that the food was OK. No management visibility, no offers of a complimentary app (even bread or biscuits) or drink while we were waiting so long… Likely not going back anytime soon if this is what we should expect. So sorry to see them going downhill so much.

   I had heard about the restaurant over Covid and finally went. We ordered the cornbread with 2 butters and hot honey- yum! I ordered the shrimp and grits for my main entree. This was the best shrimp and grits I have ever had. The gravy on it was simply perfection. The grits were creamy and the way they should be and the shrimp were delicious. The brusselsprouts were equally as good- what a wonderful meal. Already I am wanting to go back for Sunday brunch. Every person there was on point- from host/hostess to waiters to servers but especially the chef! Well done, Bloom!

   what food we had was good but our reservation was for 330pm. there is a very limited menu for that hour because too late for lunch menu and too early for dinner menu so you can only have very few choices. so limited at least 1 couple left due to this limitation. our waiter was excellent. prices were so so for what we got. really went to see how they redid the old eagle tavern that was there previously so stayed to observe the environment.

    We were so excited to try this place out. We made a reservation and were seated pretty quickly. We tried the hush puppy appetizer which was delish and came out quickly. Then we had to wait almost 40 min for our entrees. I got the chicken and waffles. The waffle was soggy and the chicken was over cooked and dry. My husband got the French toast which arrived cold to the table. They offered to re make it but we didn’t have time to sit there and wait. They did comp us for my husbands meal. We won’t be back anytime soon.
