You’ve reached the home of deliciously authentic and fabulously fresh Turkish and British dining in Stanley, co. Durham.

The Blue Bell has been a hub in the community for many years.

The main restaurant is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner and special occasions, serving speciality dishes from Turkey and some traditional British meals, including traditional Sunday lunch.

We offer an ice cream parlour featuring a variety of delectable flavours, creamy milkshakes, a vibrant play area and a relaxing beer garden.

We have a disabled entrance to the rear of the property with a ramp to the entrance straight from our large car park.

Took my wife for Sunday lunch at 0ne oclock.Sadly the place was empty so no atmosphere. The food was warm at best . A huge pile of Cauliflower cheese dominated the plate . One large roast potato Two carrots and 2 bits of broccoli. Little bit of crushed potatoes and a large overdone Yorkshire pud..Not a great occasion and afraid won't be back for Sunday lunch

First time in visiting, we received a gift voucher for Christmas so made the most of it in celebrating our anniversary with a meal. Food was beautiful and the service was excellent (infection was really fast) all round lovely night

Unbelievable food! Cooked fresh, Friendly service. Went above and beyond. Even made me a dish they don’t sell anymore because it’s my favourite. Would highly recommend
