   Went there for the first time on Saturday morning. I went there with a friend and had a large dog with me. Upon arrival the shift manager came out with a bowl of water for my dog. It set the theme for our breakfast and I found the service friendly and attentive. There was a great atmosphere and fantastic view. The Breakfast Menu was as per the Company website menu BUT very different to the menu that was emailed through on Opentable. Opentable emailed me the day prior confirming my reservation with a menu attached - there was alot more on that Breakfast menu so that was a bit disappointing. I ordered the mushrooms- unfortunately there was an odd oily fishy taste and texture to them and my friend said her scrambled eggs were also the same it was like they were cooked in fish oil. I put my dog in the car and we browsed at the pantry. We ordered cakes to takeaway along with some extra coffees. The coffee was a bit weak for my liking but the cakes were lovely. I also purchased a tub of body scrub that is hands down the best body scrub I've ever used so I will certainly be back again to try more on the menu as the service was really beautiful. I really liked the salt and pepper box - was hoping that was for sale as it was super cute. One thing I didn't like was - when we were browsing in the actual cafe a patron had her dog in there. I have a large dog and appreciate dog friendly cafes BUT I didn't think the dog should be in the actual cafe.

   Was a lovely catch-up with friends food was lovely atmosphere was delightful staff very friendly and helpful, water views just very relaxing. We sat and chatted for hours.

   Well. Our meals were very nice. But, then we got the Bill WOW, Why the surcharge? It was not a public Holiday. SSSOOO Unhappy...

   We're glad you enjoyed your meals :) To ensure our staff are compensated fairly for their work, we implement a surcharge on weekends to help offset the increased operational and food costs associated with weekend service. These surcharges are clearly indicated on our menu and at the front counter. We strive to provide a high-quality dining experience for all our guests, and we appreciate your understanding.

   Popped in for breakfast on a very hot morning so the sea breeze and shaded verandah area was much appreciated. Staff were friendly and helpful. 3 x smashed avo with various accompaniments were all lovely. Cookie to go was really good too I'm told. Had forgot about this place but will definitely be back.

   Food is great, service however is poor… food missing, drink not coming, staff out back on phones when we asked for missing food. Quality of food however is great!

   Food was relatively good although chips were luke warm and the morning tacos weren’t as good as what they had been on previous occasions. Drinks were as usual on point and the staff were mostly polite and helpful. Although everyone seems to be busy being busy.

    I have loved the Blue Tongue Pantry for years but have been disappointed with the service on the last 2 visits. On the first of these we ordered from the table and experienced a long wait ( it was busy but felt the wait was disproportionate to the number of customers), asked a staff member to check, then had to ask again before we were told there was a 25 minute delay on orders. We received our order after 35 minutes. On the last occasion we ordered for 4 people at the counter on a quiet day. The order came one item at a time, with several minutes in between each item. My coffee was barely warm and my husband had to go to the counter, where staff were standing having a conversation, to ask for his cake. I am not keen to go back again
