Sitting right on the edge of Lake Eden, the Boardwalk Cafeis a one-of-a-kind destination in North Lakes, just north of the Brisbane CBD. Sit inside or outside on the deck and enjoy new homemade freshly baked goods, plus some old favourites from previous menus. Fresh, well priced casual dining with a little of everything. Combining indoors and outdoors, the new Boardwalk Café will have counter service, 2 bars (on weekends) and a takeaway option, all overlooking the water at Lake Eden.

Terrible do not bother. This may sound like a scathing review but it was a scathing experience. We didn't even get to order but thats how bad it was for us. No customer service, no help, no nothing. Everything we asked was too hard for them to accommodate. When we say everything we mean simply asking if we could move our table out of the sun as we could not have sat there for duration of eating our lunch with how hot it was for that table. We got the reply of ‘we cant co trol the sun’ and that was said in a way as if we were asking for them to do that. We were asking for them to control where the table was placed. This was for a birthday celebration and we did get to look at menu and menu was disappointing and overpriced. Disappointed is a complete understatement if we could give them 0 we would.

I have spoken with the staff member concerned and he apologises for the saying what he said, not very professional. As you know we were very busy when you came in and we simply had no other tables. If you could have waited a short while I am sure we would have accommodated you. I am happy to offer you a $100 voucher, so you can enjoy our wonderful and service (out of the sun). First time visiting the boardwalk cafe. Food was exceptional and came out so quickly. Surprised it wasn’t more busy.

Great service, when we asked to move tables as we had 2 babies and were in the sun they found us a new table very quickly.

Very nice atmosphere with the surrounding lake and landscape. Food was delicious. Would highly recommend. Nice walk around the lake.

Food was well cooked and the service from the staff was great. Not the best Buddha Bowl I have ever had, the steak was beautiful. My main criticism is that the two meals should have come out together , not 15 minutes apart. Cardinal rule of service. I have been taught to not start eating until everyone has there meal, which meant mine had cooled right off by the time I began

Tasty food. Toast was lovely, but the crusts made it hard to cut. Food ended up all over my dress. Coffee was very strong, should have asked for half strength. Lovely eggs and pancakes and beautiful outlook over the lake. Very friendly staff.
