   The food location and service were great. The drink menu had many options but the kitchen was extremely slow and we waited for 30 minutes after appetizers for dinner.

   We had dinner at the Boathouse on a Tuesday night. I really wanted to give this a 4-5 star rating but just wasn’t our experience. The calamari appetizer was delicious but not hot. Raw oysters amazing which I would expect on the coast. Burrata excellent. Dinner entrees… two orders of the exact same entree the filet medallion and crab cake. Both requested medium temp on the filet. One came out rare the other perfectly cooked. Not a huge deal. The crab cakes were excellent. Third entree was the poached seafood. This is a simple dish, that as described with herb butter and lemon, should stand out on its own for the fresh seafood. It was cold and instead of preparing another dish they warmed it up. Ok I get it we are in a terribly costly economy. It was hot finally but basically was plain seafood. Absolutely no flavor. Maybe serve the compound butter on the side or add some herb or seasoning. And reheating it over cooked the lobster tails. It was a disappointment because we had heard great things and the reviews are excellent. Maybe just an off night for our table.

   Had a delicious dinner with friends !! My fav is their scallops and my husband had the fried trio of seafood ! The service was excellent and always is! Desserts and drinks are fabulous !!

   Had standard table overlooking the parking lot. Food was average The calamari was very good The oysters Rockefeller came cold and the wedge salad was the normal but didn’t come very attractive looking and totally drenched in dressing. Typical fried fish restaurant with fries and coleslaw. Probably best for just a drink and appetizers on the roof or outside but not dinner. The valet parking did make it easier.

   The outside seating can be extremely noisy when they’re busy. However, they moved us when we asked and were very accommodating. Great place with great food.

    Outdoor seating wasn’t really outdoors because of the weather there are a lot of families with really small children, including the table next to mine with a screeching child that they failed to attend to. It was not relaxing waterfront dining that I had anticipated. That said my waitress was very sweet and helpful and the crabcake was delicious.
