   Bob’s steak and chophouse has become our go to place for my wife’s birthday. This is our third visit to celebrate her birthday. She looks forward to it every year now. The service is outstanding from the greeters and cedars to the waiters and the bus boys. Our waiter, Sam was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and assisted both my wife and my friend’s wife in decisions regarding their food. My wife’s favorite is the petite fillet. She seems to enjoy that every time we come and look forward to it. Sam encouraged everyone at the table to try the various sauces with our meals. My friend and I each had the pork chop, which was outstanding. It even tasted like pork, which for California is often challenging. The complementary dessert (my wife picked the carrot cake.) was as everything else delicious. We enjoyed our time very much. I look forward to being there again next year if not sooner.

   Kansas City steak 18 oz was humungous! I asked for medium well but it arrived medium and just what was needed!

   We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Bob’s Steak & Chop House in La Costa, and it was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and professional. The meal itself was phenomenal. We started with the scallops, which were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The warm Italian bread was a wonderful touch and set the stage for the main course. I had the filet, cooked to perfection, accompanied by the largest sweet potato I’ve ever seen—absolutely delicious—and, of course, their famous glazed carrot, which was surprisingly tasty. My husband enjoyed the New York strip, which he described as equally flavorful and expertly prepared. Beyond the food, the ambiance made the night even more special. The location within the resort added to the experience, and the valet service was seamless and helpful. Highly recommend Bob’s Steak & Chop House for any special occasion or just a great steak dinner. We will definitely be back!

    Great place! Sam was our waiter, he did a great job with our party of 7 ppl and kids moving around the table) The food was very nice, we tried the jumbo shrimps, Caesar salad, onion rings, spinach, sea bass, salmon and of course the filet mignon! Although on the pricey side but its worth it! The parking is a bit tricky as it is inside a resort and we had to call the restaurant where they kindly navigated us through.
