   Took some friends for dinner. This was a new experience for them in terms of food, service, excellence all around. Gillan was very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. He was eager to share his passion on the food menu. The salads are unique, and the Countylicious menu is perfect to try some great dishes. One comment from our party was that the tartare , it really didn’t need the aioli. Perhaps offer it on the side? The signature martini is outstanding. Very unique flavours that all work together beautifully. Well done! Vera

   We had an excellent meal with great service! Our server (I apologize for not recalling his name) was terrific - knowledgeable, courteous and guided both of us well. He contributed greatly to the atmosphere and the overall experience! We started with the Seleccion of 3 cheeses which is quite enjoyable. The non-alcoholic beverages were quenching and not overly sweet. The Champinones were truly outstanding! We will both be talking about them for some time to come! Then, we split a paella mariscos that was beautifully prepared and presented. This is a more traditional preparation. The seafood was perfectly prepared! It was delicious although I would have preferred some onions and a bit more garlic - however, that is just my taste. We topped the meal off with a Churro - a fun way to finish! This was my second visit to Bocado and I will certainly return - I just wish we lived closer!

   front of the house lovely, GM/Somm provided thoughtful recommendations for our wine choice - Hannah (sp?) nailed it. Unobtrusive but amazing kid glove service by the entire service and runner team. Stu behind the bar meticulously crafting luxurious tapas - if you want authentic Spanish in a cool joint with a warm envelope of expert service - 10/10 would recommend!

   We found the service staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Kelly and the co server in the back room were very helpful in describing the dishes on the menu and making suggestions as what to eat and the number of items to order for our table of four. A large group just off of a wine tour were sitting close to us and they were quite energetic in their conversations. The staff had successfully asked them to keep the volume of conversation at a reasonable level for the surroundings. We enjoyed our meal and the service staff

   The food and service was excellent. I can’t recommend it enough. We sat at the bar. The bartender was excellent but really all the staff were so good. As for the food it was delicious.

   Bocado is such a refreshing change. Ever since it opened ( we live in Picton) when my husband and I want to go out for dinner this is the place we choose. We are both very creative in the kitchen so most high end restaurants are a little boring or disappointing to us, but Bocado's cuisine is innovative, delicious and presented so well. The Tapas are so amazing. We stay with ordering a few of those each with a bottle of wine and go for sharing one of their delicious desserts. We have never been disappointed. And we like leaving without that feeling of being overstuffed and uncomfortable. Tapas style is a very enjoyable way to eat. The Chef , Staff are excellent, they know their food and explain it very well and they are polite and have great sense of humour. We Love Bocado!

   We sat at the bar, and had excellent service as soon as we were greeted. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. Food, cocktails, and wine were all well presented and absolutely delicious. I would go back in a heartbeat.
