Bocca Di Bacco is a New York City Restaurant Group establishment from dynamic restaurateur and New York native Robert Malta, who owns nearly a dozen restaurants throughout the city. “I’ve been in the business 25 years,” Malta says. “I opened the first Bocca Di Bacco in Hell’s Kitchen in 2007 and it quickly became a neighborhood favorite. The Chelsea location is an evolution of what we’ve been offering. There are new menu items, and a more refined look and feel, but it’s still a great spot for the neighborhood any night of the week.”

Excellent food, fun place, but manager put too much pressure on waitress and supporting staff to move things along - Until we asked them to stop finally after taking our Appetizer that we were not done with. Too many bus staff swooping in, felt invasive to dining experience.

Server didn’t come to our table all night, they never sent our appetizers, and offered no apology. I had to get out of my seat and ask for the manager to obtain anything.

We had the loveliest Thanksgiving dinner at Bocca. Would highly recommend. Not far from the Highline. Great service. Food was excellent.

Waited over 2 hours for our main course. We ended up just taking the check and leaving before they were ready. And then they tried charging us for the dinners we didn’t eat. Not a great experience, no empathy for the wait.
