   I really wanted a local community place to be great and was so disappointed, there is literally nothing but one salad on the menu that is healthy, every item is high fat or fried and they charge you additional for everything including the sauce that you’d think comes with it or even garlic! We can do better and sadly this place has lots of room for improvement, not for me or the people whose health and happiness I care about.

   The staff were very nice. The tostones were very good. The Cuban sandwich was fair. We substituted the yuca frita for fries and it was like warm.

   The service was great. The empanadas were very good. Our food was lukewarm warm and the pieces of jerk chicken were very small. The slaw salad was too tart. Shrimp was tasty. Overall have to give it a 3 out of five.

   Loved this place! It was amazing! Top notch food! The Salmon Crudo! The tostones! The lecon Asasda! WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW!!!! Mind blown! This place isn’t authentic but the flavors are! Service was really solid and drinks were fantástico! Highly recommend!

   WORST meal ever! I am so disappointed and embarrassed. My family was here from Florida and we tried to get in (around) Christmas Eve and couldn’t. I have talked about the food being outstanding & wanted to bring them to Bodega. I loved the food there for years, not anymore. Recipes and/or chef MUST have changed! Tostones were dry & burnt. Yuca frita tasted like they had freezer burn. I’m usually a pescatarian but loved the Lechon Asado and got it every time I dined there…wasn’t even edible! Cheap cut of meat, no flavor, all fat and tasted like it hadn’t been cooked for even 1/2 hour. Plating and presentation has also changed. Lechon served in cheap, 1970’s old coconut salad bowls and with no tostones, fresh “pico” garnish or anything. C’mon Bodega, we’d love to keep going to your place… but never again.

   What can I say except everything was wonderful. The waiter greeted us immediately, brought us water and explained the menu. He was attentive throughout our lunch. The food… i am married to a Puerto Rican Native so know Puerto Rican cuisine. The food was fabulous and spot on. We had a sampling of many dishes including the Jerk Chicken which was also delicious. Please try this wonderful restaurant.

   The food and drinks were excellent, and the service was also great. I would love a slightly extended menu, and the restaurant was a little chilly.

   Good was good, portions were reasonably generous. The daiquiri was on point. It was shaken and poured, none of the mucked up overly sweet blended nonsense. The grown up Dole whip was everything you imagine it could be. The veggie options were pretty good. The burger was excellent. The fish tacos were beautiful and delicious. The location in a strip mall wasn’t promising but inside was casual, well decorated and fun with plenty of room earlier in the evening.
