   This was a great experience as last year with Dutch chef Roberto. He moved more into his element this year by moving from a open menu to a nightly "chefs table" setup. A fabulous evening with an incredible assortment of courses accompanied by a talented violenest. We l9ved it and the food and ambiance was better than "2 fools and a bull." It's not hard to believe that Roberto was a Michelin chef with his creative tallent and drive for perfection.

   5 courses, plus small an amuse-bouche and mid-meal palate cleanser for $99 per person. They offer 3 pairing options: a cocktail pairing for $89, a standard wine pairing for $69, or a premium wine pairing for $119. If you wanted to simply purchase a bottle of wine, this was not an option. This place advertises itself as a "speak-easy" which I suppose fits. Unique, but a bit strange at the same time. Unlike other chef's table options on the island, the food is not prepared in front of you. In fact, tables are upstairs along a very narrow hallway, which overlooks the indoor bar for the Drunken Burger. The chef and his partner/manager/assistant had to walk up a couple of flights of stairs for each course so guests were not all served at the same time -- and by the time your plate reached you, it was lukewarm at best. There were 2 televisions above the downstairs indoor bar of Drunken Burger that were "paused" on what appeared to be a scene from a news program the entire night. And, to get to the restrooms, you have to go down the stairs, outside, around back of the building. Aruba is certainly safe, but this is definitely not ideal! After spending over $400 on dinner, we came back to the hotel and snacked on Pringles and dip because we were still hungry. I do not think that I would return to Bogart's.

   Everything about this fairly new chef’s table experience was excellent. It is very apparent how much pride both the chef and the sommelier take in the business. The live music was also a unique and very appreciated aspect to an Aruba chef tasting. We loved everything about this dinner. We can not wait to return.

   Hosts were very nice. Ambiance was ok, felt a little cramped and dark, located on 2nd floor of bar and room was painted black. Bathrooms were not in a convenient place, located outside and behind the building. Food was ok, fish was very dry, overcooked and tasteless. Sticker shock when the bill was received, wish we were informed about the drinks and they could have been optional. Person in my party does not drink and mentioned that to host. Would have been nice to see the chef cook which is part of the experience and also to be able to chat with all the guests at the sitting.

   The experience was great! Service was excellent. Food was delicious. Wish the cost of the upgraded wine and cocktail pairings would have been disclosed as they were higher than expected. Overall great experience though.

   The chef's table experience at Bogart's was very enjoyable. Each dish was delicious and impeccably plated, and we also enjoyed the wine pairings and explanation of each wine. 5 and a half courses was just enough -- we left feeling full but not overstuffed.

   This was a gastronomic experience of the highest caliber. The food was outstanding. We ate at several restaurants and my wife said hands down this was the best in terms of the food preparation and presentation. I agree. Plus the wine pairing was also excellent, very good wines. Would definitely recommend if you are into a foodie experience. The layout of the place was a little funky but we found it fun. The Husband and wife, Chef and Sommelier/Hostess were both warm and informative.

    Had a fun night, but much different than advertised. Service was good, folks were kind. 1. It wasn't a traditional Chef's table where you watch the kitchen staff crafting dishes - which I love. Instead they're just served to you like a normal restaurant. I was very disappointed this wasn't made clearer on the website. 2. The premium wine tasting seemed overpriced for wine we can get for much cheaper here in the states. Nothing special there, opt for the normal wine pairing or just buy by the glass. 3. On the website they hype up the speakeasy and secrecy, but there really isn't one, just a normal bar that's nothing fancy. 4. There are no bathrooms in the restaurant, you have to walk out back to a somewhat sketchy alley and use public toilets. Not ideal for a date night. This is far from ideal since the experience is over 3 hours (about an hour too long), you're going to make several trips. 5. Food was ok. Very small portions, some very underwhelming. You'll leave hungry. 6. Very expensive for what it is. 7. Live singing was a nice touch. 8. Seating is weird. There are single file tables lined up in a row upstairs, not ideal for large groups or if you want to meet the folks you're doing the experience with. 9. I feel like this place is mostly trying to do it right, but there are some major ingredients missing all around I'm afraid. Seemed a bit too much "fake it until you make it" rather than delivering on the hype advertised so intensely on the website. I wish them well and hope they can fix some of these things.
