   Wouldn't go again. Super expensive for what it was. We had the herring starter which was sold out but a variant gravalax was given (we were told which was fine) but it had no flavour whatsoever. My rib eye was slightly warm on arrival and no seasoning or flavour. We also has to wait for 10 minutes before being served when sat even though staff were flying past us attending to others. Attentative after being told so maybe just bad luck. Not worth the very high bill at all. If you like live jazz and whisky go. If your a foodie, maybe try elsewhere.

   We went at 6 pm, which is very early so rather empty. However, the food was excellent and the service really good.

   It is a convenient location close to the tube and DLR. We went early evening and so it wasn't too busy. There seemed to be a lot of staff, but they were not particularly attentive. We had to chase for drinks that were slow in arriving and the food also took a while to arrive. The food was Ok, but nothing special.

   We found the reception staff to be a bit cold The atmosphere was okay We were served the wrong dish and drinks. We complained about drink which was replaced served with long and stern face We payed for overpriced mediocre meal and left vowing not to go back to this restaurant again

   We used to enjoy Boisdale’s Jazz Sunday Lunch, and after some time away, we decided to book lunch. The menu has changed, possibly more competitively priced but unfortunately the quality of the food has suffered. The whitebait starter was small and a little dry, the roast pork was sliced, looked synthetic and tasted very bland, the roast potatoes had dense skins and the carrots and cabbage were also bland and looked unappetising. It also wasn’t very hot. We had a selection of cheese for dessert (£6 supplement), again disappointing - the cheeses were too cold and hard, hence tasteless. The jazz band were good but too loud so it hindered any conversation. However, our waitress was very good. The restaurant wasn’t very busy which we found unusual compared to lunches in the past. We were very disappointed overall and would not recommend. We will not return.
