We had always been curious about the gumbo, so for my birthday, my husband and I tried it. We needed about 3 more people to make a dent! It's HUGE... with a generous amount of fish, calamari, shrimp. Very tasty (although, from my many trips to New Orleans, I don't know that I would call it gumbo). It was perfect seafood stew for a cold winter celebration. The service was impeccable as usual. If you're seated in the bar, just know it's loud and flashy with people gambling... so if you don't like lots of hustle and bustl, maybe ask to be seated in the dining room. We'll see you again!

Negative vibes from the waiter - guy just volunteered that he was fed up working here and that he'd be quitting after his shift. This made me hopeful that his miserable attitude would never be at Boston Fish Market in the future. Other support staff brought our food out giving me some relief that he never touched what went in our mouths. Definitely a red flag when the wait staff is bad mouthing the establishment.
