                                                                                                The insisted on a maximum of 3 people to pay for a group of 10 and refused to budge, very unreasonable behavior and so some had to collect cash and then pay by credit card. Very unprofessional.

                                                                                                The selection of tapas was excellent. Don't miss the bacon wrapped dates or the oxtail tapas. The wine list was a bit sparse, however, with only one red Rioja. Overall, excellent and within 100 yards of the Curran and A.C.T. theaters.

                                                                                                I’d skip this one. Food was not high quality and the restaurant itself has seen some wear and tear. The booth I was sitting at was completely ripped/torn on the cushion. Appetizer olives were lower quality than what you’d get from an olive bar at a grocery store.

                                                                                                The service and ambience were the really good parts. The people who work here are especially nice. Unfortunately, the food simply does not live up to those standards. It was fine—not inedible for certain. But everything (including the white sangria) was really quite middling.

The food was amazing, the drinks delicious, and the vibe was on point! Would definitely recommend Bota to hose who love Spanish style small plates.
