I recently visited Botanica in San Diego and had a really enjoyable experience. The drinks were excellent—unique and well-crafted. The food was good too, with options that paired nicely with our drinks. Our server gave us some great recommendations, which made the evening even better. All in all, a nice spot for a night out.

Noise was high as we had to really lean in to converse at the high tables, however there was a female Asian server with dyed hair that made our experience absolutely amazing. Food was great, churros were bomb, almost a perfect night except the noise level and how packed/cramped it was in there. That as the only fault I could find. Really great place to come like a upscale dive bar.

Hermosa experiencia! Lindo lugar para ir de cita.. la comida es justa solo para dos.. no recomendable ir en grupos grandes. Los martes hay un menú especial de todo por 5 y 10 dólares :)

We had such a lovely time at Botanica and can't wait to go back and try more cocktails and snacks. The atmosphere is lively, but not overpowering. The snug space feels intimate and I love the art. Their team went above and beyond by providing us a toasting glass of bubbles to celebrate our "meet-iversary" (10 years). Very cute, definitely will be back!

Great cocktails with good balance. Truffle fries with the house made tomato sauce was delicious. Bathroom sink was not working. Our server knew the ins and outs of the menu and was able to make well-appreciated and spot on recommendations. Overall very nice way to wrap up the evening!
