The event on New Year's eve was not well managed. The check-in table in the lobby of the hotel did not have enough staff to process the crowd efficiently. Once checked-in we were directed to another check-in spot outside the ballroom. We were supposed to be seated at the table with members of the Palmas Ladies Community Club (PLCC), but were put at a different table on the other side of the ballroom because our seats at the PLCC table had been taken by other people. The buffet dinner was good but wish it had stayed open longer. By the time people got seated and waited on a long line for the buffet, there was no time left for coffee and a dessert before the buffet closed. I have been to other events at the hotel which were handled better than the one on New Year's Eve 2023.
