Welcome to Bottega Michelangelo, a casual Southern Italian neighborhood kitchen located in the suburban town of Oro Valley. Our menu highlights the cuisine of Southern Italy with a distinct "Italy to Table" flair. The restaurant features contemporary elements and popular Michelangelo artifacts creating the feel of a modern Italian kitchen.                                                                                             Came here for dinner with a group, we hadn’t seen some family members in a while so we were not in a rush. Everything was excellent, the food was great (I wish I took pictures). Our server Delyssa was excellent, she was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. If we are back in this area again we will be back.

                                                                                            A favorite place which is extremely busy at dinner time. Food is excellent with ample portions. Service can be up or down depending on who you get. Fairly noisy due to larger groups. Evening reservations highly recommended. Parking can be an issue.

                                                                                            Though the food was delicious and our waiter was attentive, about halfway through my son discovered a long black hair in his food. We discreetly let our waiter know and he said he’d talk to the manager and bring my son a new dish. By time his dish came out we were pretty much ready to go and ended up taking his meal to go. I was disappointed in that the manager never once came to talk to us nor was the meal item compensated or at least discounted.

                                                                                            Our table and another near us were seated at about 3:30P. Water and bread service was prompt. Then we waited over 15 min for a waiter who never showed up. We had to ask and were provided a disingenuous excuse that there was a shift change. We left because if the service to make the sale was poor, then that is a bad indicator for what is about to come. The other table left as well.

                                                                                            My wife and I walked in and got seated right away. Our waiter brought water, bread and took our order within 10 minutes. He brought our order out promptly. Food was delicious, as always.
