Overall 2/5 stars. Made a reservation knowing the atmosphere already, expecting to be greeted and seated. We walked in looking lost, a staff member approached and said sit wherever, order at the bar. We grabbed a table and proceeded to the bar to then wait 30 minutes standing up for a cocktail. One bartender on a Saturday night is crazy. The rush ended I believe as a shift change happened. The closing bartender took our order, brought the drinks to the table and checked in. He is the only reason for the 2 stars of the experience.

Amazing drinks, and good food. They didn't tell us before hand, you have to call the number on the payphone to get in, but once we got in it was terrific. No wait service on the night we went either that was a little weird but the drinks were incredible.

I had a reservation which apparently does not matter. There was only service given at the bar. All open seating had to go to the bar and order. Definitely wasn’t the experience I came therefore will not recommend

Bourbon & Banter is one of the best speakeasy style spots I have ever been to anywhere. We were in town for a family event so this was my first time here. I am a Bourbon Guy and not only do they know bourbon, but they are some serious Mixologists. The Porto Old Fashioned is easily the Best Old Fashioned EVER! And I am very snobby about people who say they make a good one. We got in a little early around 9 and had space for our large group of 8. Everyone had a cocktail that was next level. I cant wait to get back to Dallas again and see what new cocktails they are cookin’.

We got to the bar and we're sat for our reservation but then no one came to take our order after 20 minutes so we left.

Stayed at the Statler and went every night for 4 night stay. Everyone behind the bar were great and made great cocktails. The bites were perfect size for a snack. The entrance was a great idea and we would highly recommend.

Enjoyable and Exciting! The entire experience was memorable. The secret door was so much fun! The staff was attentive. We immediately had drinks after sitting at our table. We got the fun speakeasy experience we were looking for!
