Disappointed. They advertised a brunch but it was individual menu selection. The food is good but just a few weeks back they served a large spread with various foods at a reasonable price and advertised as a brunch.

Avery nice restaraunt. Cozy, comfortable, food was very good..3 different entries and everyone cleaned their plates. Wait staff was friendly, polite, engaging. We will go back. Music was pretty loud but we asked if they could turn it down and they did. We all enjoyed our dinner!

Had never eaten here before but thought it would be nice to try somewhere new to us. The service was lacking, we were seated and waited 15 minutes before someone came to take our drink order, waited another 10+ for drinks to arrive. Waited again for our order to be taken and watched as others who arrived after us receive their orders as we continued to wait. I can’t say what was finally brought out was anything special. The most flavorful parts of our meal was the mushroom cap appetizer and the sautéd spinach. I ordered the filet medium rare but it came out well with way too much char which gave a burnt flavor. My mother in law ordered the ribeye and said while it was cooked to her liking, it was just “okay” leaving the majority of it untouched. My husband left half his prime rib. Our server waited 15 minutes before checking back with us and we were never offered additional water or drinks. Don’t think we’ll visit the Bourbon Grill again.

I used to eat at this place years ago when it was the Steaksmith at El Gauncho. It is where I would choose to eat for my birthday when I was a kid. I have moved out of state due to work but always return a couple of times back to my home town. I always come back to this restaurant for the spinach cheese balls. I have noticed that the service has steadily gone down hill over the years. I am guessing probably new ownership and management. This was even before Covid However I go back for the one nostalgic thing that I do love there. The spinach cheese balls. We made our reservations weeks in advance because it was Valentine’s Day and knew it would be pretty much impossible to get into anywhere in Santa Fe. We arrived they never asked our name for the reservations just seated us which was fine. It took about ten minutes for the waitress to first come around and take our orders for drinks. So I went ahead and ordered our appetizer as well. And that was fine because it was Valentine’s Day and I knew it was busy. Our drinks from the bar came out around ten minutes after that and we went ahead and placed our order for dinner. That was the last time our waitress would visit the table. Thirty minutes into being there salads were delivered. Both were house salads we ordered Caesar salads. That was also ok at least we had received something except we did not have silverware. The same exact thing was happening with several tables around us. The people at the table next to us asked for silverware for us and them. This was past probably around 45 minutes of being there our drinks were empty still no appetizer. The mood in the place had kinda soured. So instead of eating the wrong salads we just decided we would pay for the drinks and leave. The guy that was up at the front said the would cover the drinks and he was very friendly. I do love the spinach cheese balls there. Never did get them this time around. If I ever do go back it definitely will not be on a holiday.

What a disappointment of what we thought would be a great evening. And on Valentine’s too! The place was packed as to be expected but we had reservations and got sat immediately. We ordered Chips and Salsa as well as Green Chilie Cheese balls. When those items came out we were surprised to see guacamole with our chips and salsa as well, but noticed that those around us with chips and salsa also all had guac, so we figured just a nice little add on for Valentine’s. Wrong, will tell why later. The apps were decent and the balls just ok, tasted like they were probably overcooked but who knows, our first time having them. When ordering our main course my wife inquired about the Chicken Schnitzel, we were shocked when our waiter said that he would only recommend if you like lots of salt, not normal to hear staff talk down on food, but totally appreciate the honesty. She ended up getting half roasted chicken and I got the Fish and Chips from a recommendation. We also observed and listened to the table next to us have their waiter telling the guy to get a different steak than what he wanted because the price would be more beneficial and “who wants there bill to be $70 for 2 people” . Customer looked at him like he was crazy telling him how to better budget his money lol. That took balls on the waiters part. Guy said I want the steak I said lol. Anyhow our food…. The chicken was very dry and and not appeasing at all to my wife. My fish and chips looked amazing till you started eating and realized all your getting is 75% breading and such little fish you don’t even realize your eating it. The fries were very good. There was no need in telling our waiter anything considering we never saw him. We ate what we could tolerate and against my better judgment I decided to get a dessert to go, wanted something good to come out of this. We got the bread pudding and I don’t know what the crap they gave us was. Burnt out of the toaster bread that was ice cold in the middle of the contai

We absolutely love this local restaurant! Especially Bo, the server! However, when we arrived and were seated--there were two young children running around and screaming, unsupervised by their mom--which was very disturbing-- :( Luckily, they were close to finished at their table and left about 15mins into our dining experience, so, we were able to enjoy the rest of our time.

I had a reservation but still had to wait to be seated. The atmosphere was amazing and the place was nice and warm. It took awhile to be served at times it took too long. The steaks were amazing prepared. The Lobster was over cooked and rubbery
