“Arguably the best oyster bar of any white tablecloth restaurant in New Orleans” per the Times-Picayune, Dickie Brennan’s Bourbon House is all about local seafood. If it’s not in season, you won’t find it on the menu. Enjoy authentic New Orleans dishes and oysters on the half-shell in a lively atmosphere overlooking Bourbon Street.

Dickie Brennan and his culinary team have created an incredible menu of classic New Orleans dishes complemented by new favorites. Signature favorites include Gulf fish on the Halfshell and New Orleans style Barbeque Shrimp.

Bourbon is a central focus at the bar with 200 bourbons on the list. Bourbon House is the perfect place for a specialty cocktail or a straight pour of that hard to find small-batch whiskey.

Bourbon House continues to be my favorite restaurant in New Orleans. It has the perfect balance of a vibrant setting with lots of people (both locals and tourists), great seafood, delicious steaks, well crafted drinks, excellent service and reasonable prices. I went with two of my friends to celebrate a birthday and we all had the most fabulous time ever. I highly recommend Bourbon House to everyone.

Very tasty meal and knowledgeable server. Zero complaints and you won’t be disappointed in the flavors that every entree offers, even the appetizers are so flavorful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Beautiful ambiance and very good food. Service is courteous and overall fast. Couple of mistakes but happy to remedy quickly. Price value ratio is pretty good. Overall very enjoyable experience.

This place has 2 sections, the dining room and a pub type area with lots of tvs showing sports and lots of drunk people. We booked the dining room but got put in the pub area. Drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive, food took more than 40 minutes. Service was average but the poor girl was smashed with too many tables to look after at once so not her fault. Not happy to pay fine dining prices for what could only be described as a sports bar for drunk people.

We ordered oysters and they came out cold. Sent them back and the waitress said they were making us a fresh order. They came back out still lukewarm like they had been sitting there a while.
