    We are frequent visitors to Brandl's. We love their menu items because of their creativity, how well their executed and presentation. The house smoked dry rubbed wings came out hot, tender and had a flavorful coating offset with the creamy blue cheese dressing. The wedge salad, also dressed with blue cheese dressing, came garnished with pickled red onions and hot bacon bits, both were delicious. The special for the evening, pan seared scallops over lobster chowder sauce was scrumptious. The slightly cream sauce had a delightful flavor that also included small diced potatoes and green onions. The braised boneless short rib was moist and tender served over garlic mashed potatoes with pickled vegetable and demi-glace; a delicious and hearty entree. We finished our meal with warm chocolate molten cake with espresso ice cream and chocolate sauce. A rich, decadent dessert, perfect for sharing.

    Food was very salty, filet was also tough and scallops were extremely fishy. Fries tasted greasy and sautéed spinach had a funny taste.

    We were welcomed as soon as we walked in and seated quickly. The specials were explained as well as alerting us to their weekly specials. Food and service was great! Enjoyed the whole experience.

    We visited Brandi’s on a cold and windy Wednesday evening. Our favorite server, Vincent and food runner, Arturo gave us a warm welcome as usual. For dinner we began with Fritto Misto, a mix of large shrimp, calamari and hot peppers in a crunchy, golden crust. It’s served with a sweet chili sauce which complements the dish perfectly. For entrees we enjoyed the Puttanesca with linguine, tomatoes, olives, capers and anchovies. The other pasta dish was Scamp Arrabiatta which consisted of shrimp, garlic, parsley, chili flakes over rigatoni. The pasta was cooked al dente and was scrumptious. We finished our meal with a coffee, cappuccino and shared a Molten Chocolate cake served with a scoop of rich vanilla ice cream. The cake was warm, and not overly sweet.

    We've been here several times, this time the host was very rude to a party who was at the door before us, so rude that they left!! He then made an uncalled for remark about them leaving to us!! We had a problem with one of our steak entre....it was taken back, but came out worse the 2nd time. This experience was disappointing since we've dinner here prior and brought friends with us who were never there. It certainly did not impress them to want to come back.

    The food is always great but the open mistreatment of the waitstaff by the manager is very disrespectful of the staff and especially the diners. It was not very crowded and the verbal abuse of the staff was appalling while we were dining. It makes diners very uncomfortable and that is a shame because the food is always great. We have been here probably 6 times over the past 20 years and each time we leave we say we are never coming back here because of this situation, then time goes by and we say lets try it again and the same thing happens and it ruins the meal!! We are not the only people who know this situation to be true. I will say most nights it is crowded so if you don't mind the abuse definitely go you will have great food.!! We will not be returning!
