Food was middle of the road. I had the Shakshuka and it tasted more Italian than Indian.

We chose this restaurant hoping it would be more quiet than the west loop and river north places and it was but not by that much. The food was excellent and so were our cocktails. Our server was slow to get the cocktails out but the food came in a timely manner. The worst part about the experience was the inefficiency of having only one hostess and she was also checking on tables being ready and then setting them if they weren’t so there was a backup line of people waiting to be seated when we arrived at 7:45 pm. We were not seated until 8pm and we’re just standing there waiting for someone to even acknowledge our presence. We almost left but the food and drinks were so good we left happy. Ambiance is also nice.

Delicious lobster roll. Substituted Caesar salad for fries. Great salad. Only one other table occupied. Beautiful room. I was there early so maybe that’s why it wasn’t busier.

Service and food were excellent, as always. It was my friend’s birthday brunch and the waiter and chef made it so special. The Waldorf staff (special shout out to chef Dewey) always go above and beyond.
