At the Fleet Street end of the lane, our brasserie is a haven in the heart of the legal district. Booth seating provides a sense of privacy if required for business lunches, or simply share in the hustle and bustle that the city provides. Extra seating is available in the downstairs dining room, and an elegant private room can be booked for meetings, after work events and dinners. Lovely restaurant however service was a little slow and had to ask to order etc. French onion soup was lovely but steak was very average

A perfect Brasserie with a great menu and welcoming staff that makes you wanting to return to try it all. Away from the touristy areas this is a go to for people who live or work in the area! 😊

Of course this is not meant to be Mr Blanc’s 5 star restaurant but even as a humble brasserie it left a lot to be desired. My sticky beef was nearly dry and my wife’s hake oversalted (which to my mind is a capital sin at this level of cuisine). The good things were that it was good value with the 50% main course discount, and the helpful friendly maitre d’. They must improve if they want to survive the fierce London competition.

My friends and I had an enjoyable midweek lunch and the service we received was very good. The meal selection was rather restricted as we were told on arrival that several items weren’t available but luckily we had sufficient choice as it turned out. The overall cost was reasonable and our experience was certainly pleasant enough to encourage us to return.

It was our last night in London and our last day of a long European vacation, we wanted something different from the food we had been eating thru our travels, this place was exactly what we wanted, the food was just excellent!!! Specially the escargot 👌🏼definitely recommended for couples or family.
