   An all-around satisfying brasserie experience with a short rib bourguinon that was truly outstanding. And don’t pass up the delicious basket of gougeres, for the table and/or with cocktails. Wines by the glass were also excellent selections. We’ll be back … hopefully often!

   Their restaurant on 56th near Carnegie closed possibly during the COVID pandemic. It was terribly missed. A new one opened on 7th and 58th. Welcome! We missed having a really great French restaurant near Carnegie. Thank you for coming back even closer to Carnegie. The interior is comfortable and charming but the real star is the food. The rare streak was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. The fries were crisp, hot and delicious. I feel the test of a restaurant is in the simple things. Is the steak as it was ordered? Were the fries tasty? Yes to both. The chicken with mushroom stuffing was equally delicious. Served with haricot vert and mashed potatoes, it was pure joy as comfort food. Dessert and coffee did not disappoint. The service was impeccable. Can’t wait to return.

   Excellent food and service. The cod was some of the best I have ever had. This restaurant is a real neighborhood gem and I highly recommend it.

    We had a nice time. We eat at the upper east version often but thought we would give this a try as it is closer to our apartment. The menu is largely the same. But are a good choice for a meal out.
