This is my go-to place for special family events. Tonight, my wife and I dined there with our son, who is visiting from New York. As always, the food was great—authentic and delicious. We started with Baked Brie and Beets with Chevre (goat cheese). For our main courses, we enjoyed the traditional Coq au Vin, Duck Confit, and the special of the day, Red Snapper. We finished our meal with Moose au Chocolat and Passion Fruit Sorbet. Each dish was exquisite, but the Baked Brie was a delightful surprise—it was amazing. Our server, Mr. Nguyen, was very attentive, and the service was exceptional. I’m sure we will be back to this restaurant again soon.

We had a great dinner here when staying in Houston for a night. Loved everything and make sure to not skip dessert! Shout out for the escargot, foie gras, burrata, short rib, chocolate mousse, and apple dessert!

I had an incredibly upsetting and distressing experience dining at this restaurant. I can’t fully understand what drove this behavior, but it felt as though the French staff there genuinely despised us the moment we walked into their place. Perhaps we weren’t dressed in the most extravagant attire, or maybe it’s because we’re Asian and they are simply racist. Whatever their reason, they made no effort to hide their contempt and seemed to take pride in making us uncomfortable. Here’s what happened: 1.Despite having a reservation on OpenTable, we were shoved into a secluded corner in the back, hidden from other guests and entirely overlooked by the waitstaff. 2.Every other table received bread before their meals, but not ours. When we asked, the waitress practically threw two at us, clearly doing so reluctantly and with visible disdain. 3.When we tried to get our check, we waved at two different waiters, both of whom blatantly ignored us. In the end, we had to go up to the reception to pay because they refused to acknowledge us. This was beyond unacceptable, and the open hostility we faced was shocking. It’s as if they took pleasure in making us feel unwelcome.

We ate at the bar and had great service, excellent food and this place has a cool vibe. We got there before the crowd so noise level wasn’t an issue. Cesar was awesome, and made us the best raspberry and strawberry lemon drops. Will be back!

Food was awful. Server barely spoke enough English to communicate. The coq au vin was too dry to eat. When I mentioned to the server she spoke to the kitchen and came back to say it was because it was a breast. It was very clearly a leg thighs combo as it still had the bone. The filet which was ordered medium was at least medium well of not more. The server asked how it was and I said it was definitely over. She said oh I’m sorry and that was that. Meanwhile the chef sat in the dining room talking to a table he knew. The quality coming front his kitchen does not afford him the opportunity to converse during service. I will not be back.
