   I can honestly say these were the best mussels I have ever had. Michael is an excellent server and host.

   We were looking for some place new to go and came across Brasserie and thought we'd give it a try. When I arrived I recognized the building and was surprised to see that the restaurant had taken over what was previously an Irish pub, though I think it may still be the same owners/managers. The host was very friendly and accommodating and let us choose between a few tables. The menu is great and a has a good mix of French inspired dishes and staples. I ordered a duck confit that was situated in a sort of jambalaya and it was great. The atmosphere and decor are very nice and the restaurant is divided between a bar, an indoor seating area and a sort of sunroom seating area. The only "complaint" I'd have is that our waiter, while very attentive and friendly, was also quite forgetful. He had to come back multiple times to clarify what we had ordered and I heard him cop to some mistake he made with the table next to us as well. After my wife ordered dessert I joked with her that he'd be back in a second to ask her to repeat her order. Instead, he brought back the wrong dessert, though with a sparkler because I had told the restaurant that it was her birthday. I'd still definitely go back and would highly recommend this place.

    As always, food was delicious Had the wedge salad, was the best I ever had. Different than the usual boring wedge salad, hope this stays around. Also had the chicken pot pie. This did not disappoint. Perfect balance or chicken and veggies, total comfort food. Ended with a decaf espresso martini, YUMMMMM!
