   Beautiful food, great service and a lovely ambience. Bresson is one of the best restaurants where we have dined this year.

   Seven of us went for dinner with the Christmas menu on offer as we were here the previous year and it was really good. Unfortunately a different experience this time, I ordered the same vegetarian option as last year and the serving was half the size. I complained and to be fair was offered additional sides (I got chips), however I'd rather that my main course was a fair size in the first place. With wine we paid €137 each and on reflection it definitely was poor value.

   Fantastic, went before about a year ago.. was brilliant that time. Didn't think it could be on par again. Not only was it as good, it was magnificent. From the small aperitif at the beginning and the mid sorbets, the food was michelin star if even a higher level than that! They cooked my steak to perfection. To wrap it all off I had the basque burnt cheesecake. Probably the greatest dish ever produced outside the san Sebastian region. All in all a gem of a place.

   I had booked the table months ago & while I had not asked for a specific table in the restaurant, our group of five people were at the back beside the service area which was constantly busy & draughty. We all felt the service was poor. We had to ask for bread which was included on the menu. Our picpoul was not chilled & we asked several times for a wine bucket. We were-offered ice to put in our wine. I expected more from this standard of restaurant. While our food was lovely, our overall experience was not great. We felt we were in a corner out of the way! Taking into account the price of wine & food we deserved a better service. This experience left us all feeling disappointed & not encouraged to return. Thank you. Anne

   Lovely food - classic french high dining. Quite good value compared to some Michelin starred places. Bit noisy this time around but it is the Christmas rush. Would recommend to food lovers especially those who don't complain too much. Service quite good - not quite Michelin level but not bad. This was my second time and I look forward to the next time.

   We loved the food and enjoyed our night. Our main comments it was a little dark for our table & didn't have the same atmosphere as downstairs. Think it was a little quieter which did make it more relaxed but the lighting was very poor. Our waiter was great but I think he was under pressure as downstairs was very busy. Maybe Christmas might not be the best time to go to Bresson!

   Really top drawer food that’s let down by lack of staff when it gets busy. Need to improve service to match up with the really high quality food. The chef is amazing but there are not enough people working .
