   This was our first visit to this restaurant. I do think it was a little bit overrated for the money as my lamb was a little bit chewy and just tasted bit blind as for the music that was nice. The service was good.

   I think the vegetable portions were a bit small but the steak was nice and the sticky toffee pudding was perfect.

   Food was lovely and tasty, the only downside was that the calamari starter was very spicy but not highlighted that it would be on the menu. The restaurant and nice and cosy.

   A few dishes were not available but we were not informed when they handed us the menu so 2 choices were not available that we would have chosen. Also most pudding were not available or changed. Food was tasty. Had a flickering light above us but another table they offered us we would have been squeezed between tables.

   Another great meal at Brettingtons. Greeted we as always and taken to our favourite table by the front window. Steak and lobster were great.

   This was our first time in Brettingtons and we had a great time, our meals were faultless and our steaks cooked just how we like it. The food is on the expensive side but you get what you pay for. We will be coming back again.

   The food was great and fairly good value for money. The experience was spoilt a bit for us both as it was SO noisy! We ended up having to shout at each other. The tables are somewhat squashed together and the very large party next to us meant we didn't actually enjoy the evening as much as we hoped.

   Great staff, great service, great ambience, unfortunately the food was just ok. Under seasoned and the steak was cooked to order but was tough to chew so maybe the meat quality isn’t there yet. It’s a shame as the overall expertience was great.

    Absolutely fantastic food. Really great service. Would definitely go again for a special occasion as it is quite expensive. A few items not available but I only went there for the lobster and was not disappointed.
