   The place itself is beautiful inside. The service needs some work. For example, our waitress did not come to our table for a good while. Dirty plates and utensils were taken away, but not always replaced by clean ones. We had to ask a few times to bring us new plates and forks and knives. The appetizers that are listed on the menu as “to share,” are pretty small, definitely not to share for more than 2 people. I wish that the waitress would’ve said something as there were 7 of us dining. The main courses were lukewarm, not hot, but they were mostly tasty. The most expensive thing on the menu (the skirt steak), was over seasoned and too salty. The drinks were good. The place is good, but not yet great. Hopefully, soon they’ll improve.

   We celebrated my wife’s 50th birthday. Everyone in the party commented on the wonderful ambience and amazing view. The food and service were amazing. We all had a blast. Even the other clientele were super nice. A couple from the table next to ours bought us champagne! It was also a pleasant surprise that my wife’s meal, cocktail & dessert were on the house! It was a joyous night and we all plan on returning!

   Work experience of my life.. the front hostess was so inconsiderate and you can tell they were letting locals sit with no reservations even tho we had one. Then are order was switched with someone else..

   Second visit and we were not disappointed. The avocado appetizer was delicious, eggplant was different than the norm, but still good. Had the salmon this time and it was cooked perfectly. Crispy on the outside, moist on the inside, my wife had the bass, she loved it. Service was excellent. A great addition to the neighborhood. Coming back soon for sure.

   First time here. Wonderful experience. Everything was impeccable. We will be back. I hope they keep up the good work when the crowds start coming in the warmer weather. It will be very busy then

   Breva stands out as a truly special destination on the Brighton Beach boardwalk. With its elegant yet cozy interior, immaculate cleanliness, and breathtaking ocean views, it offers an atmosphere unlike any other in the area. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The food is exceptional. The salmon I ordered was perfectly cooked—tender, flavorful, and paired with a rich sauce and cauliflower that elevated the dish. It was easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The mid-season salad was fresh and vibrant, with the playful addition of a Neapolitan ice cream topping leaving a sweet, memorable finish. Breva is more than just a restaurant—it’s an experience. It brings sophistication and creativity to the boardwalk, and I can’t wait to return. A must-visit for locals and visitors alike!
