Bricco’s star has been rising steadily since restaurateur Frank DePasquale revamped the menu to feature modern interpretations of regional Italian dishes.

Bricco has garnished superlative reviews from food writers in Boston and around the country – Best Guaranteed Meal in the North End and Best Pasta in Boston just two of the most recent accolades.

The talented kitchen team creates “boutique” Italian food, so-called because it is unique, personal and created for a select and sophisticated diner. The food is complemented by an enoteca (wine bar) with an exceptional selection of all-Italian wines.

Bricco also offers a sophisticated late night scene. The chic and energetic bar serves up great one of a kind cocktails as well as brick oven pizza with gourmet toppings such as prosciutto and fresh mozzarella from Italy in addition with appetizer selections.

The food and service were excellent. We enjoyed the prix fixe menu. In the future, we would avoid a night when the Celtics were playing at the Garden. It was very noisy and difficult to carry on a conversation.

Food was overrated and over priced. It was decent but there are better places to eat at the north end. The servers were also not the greatest

Had a lovely experience at Bricco. Their food is amazing and service was outstanding. A few people from my party were late due traffic and the staff was very understanding.

Our 1st trip to the North End, and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of Bricco. The waitstaff was efficient and personable. The menu offered something for everyone’s taste. If you’re looking for heavy, predictable tomato sauce dishes, keep on walking. My husband’s clams and branzino were fresh and tasty. My pasta w/lobster and truffle was sophisticated and subtle but vibrant. Whoever came up with the deconstructed tiramisu was creatively playful and it was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. Not gooey and overly sweetened layers, but each ingredient getting a chance to shine. We live in western MA., and generally don’t get cooking like this, so it was a treat for us. We enjoyed our dinner and highly recommend Bricco.

Just a fabulous restaurant. Beautiful, cozy decor. Fantastic server and sommelier. He picked a perfect wine for a party of seven. The food itself was all top-notch. Would recommend Bricco to anyone visiting Boston and looking to enjoy a great Italian dinner in the heart of Boston's North End.

My boyfriend and I had an absolutely lovely time at Bricco, last evening, enjoying dishes from the “Dine Out. Boston” menu! My favorites were the meatballs and seafood risotto..to die for! He loved the mussels and clams! The service was on point, and we loved the quaint ambiance!
