   We had a large group. Service was very slow. And they were out of many wine choices. Overall restaurant was not busy so I was surprised it was so slow.

   We had an 8 pm reservation and they told us they were running about an hour behind schedule. Our server seemed checked out from the start. We had asked for bread a few times and our server kept telling us it was coming, but it was frozen?? It did finally arrive halfway through the meal and it was indeed, still cold. We were hungry, so it sufficed, but overall was not great.

   Apparently they overbooked last night. We had a reservation and still had to wait 30 minutes for our table. Staff seemed stressed out.

   Saturday night, 12/7/2024, and the Plaza was very busy. As were all the restaurants. We had dinner for 5 at Brio for my daughter’s birthday. It was just not good. They appeared significantly understaffed. Our pre meal bread arrived late into dinner. The food was average at best. The restaurant was very loud. The bill with 2 appetizers, no alcohol or drinks, 5 entrees, 6 desserts and tip was $300. I hate posting this but hoping to help someone else from repeating our experience.

   Overall the whole night was poor because of the lack of good management. The staff did what they could with a bad situation. It started with the overbooking of reservations. Everyone was told when they walked in that even with a reservation they would have to wait at least 15-20 minutes because the tables weren’t turning fast enough. Then when everyone with a 7:30 reservation started complaining they sat us all once which overwhelmed the kitchen and we had to wait over 30 minutes for our meal. The sous chef was going around apologizing instead of a manager. They then sent two large calamari plates which would have been nice but no one at our table ate calamari so they sat uneaten. When our meal did arrive not everyone was served and it took another 5 minutes for the meal to arrive with half of it being inedible. The server was great and tried to make it better by offering us dessert but by then we just wanted to go home. We won’t be back.

   Arrived early and waited around 10 mins to be seated. On this Sat night, the restaurant was not full. Food, Service, and etc were all very good. One of the chefs, was also touring, touching tables, and talking to guests to verify all was good. Very nice touch that you don't see often.

    Still great food and generally good service. Carpaccio is always terrific and was perfect dinner prior to going ballroom dancing! Lots of protein, but sat light on the palate and stomach!
