I had a party of five show up for a holiday luncheon and they weren't even open! Doors were locked and lights off. I went back to the website and it said they were open. We went to another restaurant.

The food was just okay, but the service was sorely lacking, We had to ask for bread 4 different times before we got it, a bowl of soup and a bowl of simple pasta took almost an hour to get. A lady dining solo at the next table said she comes here often but the service is very slow, well she was completely accurate. Before we left another table was already complaining about the service. Based on what I experienced I will not be back. The food did not make up for the servie.

Brio Tuscany Grille in Dana Point is a neighborhood gem. The food is so delicious. Each time I have dined here I have enjoyed every meal. The service is excellent.

It was our first time even though we've lived in the area for years. Nice ambiance, friendly service, and excellent food. We had dinner on Saturday night with a small group and stayed for the live band. Overall, a very enjoyable evening!

Our party enjoyed the ambiance, server and noise level....my dish, linguine pescatore was dissapointing. Seemed like the seafood was old and tough.

This was not our first visit to Brio, and the food was again very good. We had our same waiter who provides very good service, but unfortunately this night it was extremely slow. He mentioned large groups and slow kitchen - there was just the 2 of us and our meal should have taken 1:00-1:15 but we were there over 2:15. For this reason I would not recommend for children and/or larger groups.
