   In the winter, we locals enjoy dining out with friends and neighbors. We’ve always enjoyed dining at Brix. Tonight, the wine was great, the green beans were as good as always, the beet salad was very good, the service was ok, but the time between the salad and the entree was ridiculously slow. When dinner finally arrived, my scallops were barely warm and the mashed potatoes were lukewarm at best. My neighbors plate was cold and his biscuits were both cold,and had no butter. My spouses sole was warm, but not tasty. We were all disappointed. It’s not what I expected, or we wanted.

   The restaurant was completely empty when we arrived 25 minutes early. The hostess told us we couldn’t be seated until the time of our reservation. She guided us to the bar to wait. After ordering a drink, I received an email notification that are table was ready. Felt like she lured us into ordering a drink first. Not cool.

   First time at Brix. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff was very nice and they made us feel like we’ve been going there for years. We were able to walk around outside and see where a lot of the food is grown. Highly recommended.

   Food and service very good. Seating and setting disappointing. Seated in patio in sunniest part. Sun in eyes the entire time. Other seats of two were in the shade but they sat us in the bright sun anyway. Overall it was good to very good. Just wasn’t a pleasant experience dealing with sun.

   I had the burger. It was half the size of the bun and extremely salty. My husband had the shot ribs. They were very spicy which was not mentioned on the menu.

   Awful experience! Came here on Valentine’s Day with my family. Took 25 minutes to get drinks. We ordered the steak medium well and it came out basically rare. They sent it back to the kitchen and fried it on the grill a little longer so the outsides were burnt, but the inside was still rare. And the manager was extremely apologetic, but we had an awful time at a place we used to love on a holiday. They were not even busy, so I am surprised we had these issues even on a

    My wife and I ordered a number of apps for our lunch and while they all sounded amazing, for the most part the outcome was speak. The crispy deviled eggs are a great concept but the deep fried egg whites were rubbery. The mustard sauce for the tempura green beans was very flavorful but the beans themselves lacked seasoning. The grilled avocado didn't have enough grilled flavor but the pimento cheese was amazing. Our favorite dish was the crab fondue which was perfectly creamy with some nice crusty cheese bits on the lip of the ramekin in which it was served.
